Architect, Designer and Specifier Preferences and Uses for Electronic and Paper Product Information Sources
This research is an update of our original study, the first independent in-depth study describing architect's actual use of electronic and print product resources such as Sweet's, ARCAT, Architects' First Source and manufacturers' technical binders to select your products. Based on interviews with 435 architects and specifiers in large and medium size architectural firms and independent spec writers, this research definitively establishes which information resources architects prefer when specifying products.

This study will tell you:
How product catalog files, directories and electronic product information influence product selection and specification
When architects and specifiers actually use manufacturers' websites, CD ROM, print catalogs and technical binders at specific stages of a project
Which print and electronic formats of catalog files and directories architects use - and why
When in the product selection and specification cycle each product catalog file/directory is used by respondents
